Got a big case of the lazies

For everything except working out! I had a great workout yesterday with my trainer. I lifted weights! It was actually pretty fun and the time flew by. It was not so fun to find out that my left arm is considerably weaker than my right, and not to mention, much less coordinated. It was embarrassing how it just flopped around while my right arm looked like a pro. My trainer thought it was pretty hilarious. Hopefully I can get that evened out with a little more training on the left side. After lifting, I was feeling pretty good, so I cranked out a couple miles of running and interval training on the treadmill. I felt great.


I've noticed that when I lift and strength train, my appetite increases. I'm starving all day! Why is that? Is it because I expended a lot of energy training and my body continues to burn more after training? I was going to take pictures of my food through out the day, but I was so hungry for dinner that I inhaled it before I even had a chance to take a picture! I think I'm having the same thing today for dinner, so I'll just snap a picture of that before I eat it and post the pictures tonight.


I have the morning off from my first class, so I think I'm going to go to the gym. Speaking of class, I just don't have it in me anymore. I've been in college for 5 years now, taking the long and slow road of pursuing something I really want to do, but man, I just can't take anymore homework and projects. I want to get out there and do the real thing! I want to start my career! And I know the job market is still bad and I'm better off not trying to find a job right now, but this is taking forever. I'm antsy to get out there and start doing what I want to do!


Sorry about my midlife crisis-ish rant. This semester is challenging and I'm burnt out. Summer needs to come faster!
